February Fruktletter

January is over, and we are ready for February and the first glimpses of spring.

At Nubbgatan we have finished most of the 2021 cuvees, and now we start to prepare the bottles before they leave our winery. This means lots of labeling, packing and moving things around. Our Cellarmaster, Jesper Friberg is also currently updating and organizing the cellar, so we can slowly start to prepare for the 2022 harvest and production.

One cuvee that we are currently disgorging is the 2020 Tour de Frukt. This cuvee has been an ongoing project with our good friend, Come Isambert that started back in 2017. Usually we make the cuvee with fruit and grapes from Come’s vineyard, but for 2020 we did a Swedish version with 90% apples (Kim & Ingrid Marie) and 10% solaris juice, with a 3 week maceration on the skins.

We are also working on giving our webpage a bit of an update, and we plan on being online later this month. This also means that we are doing a 2.0 version of our FRUKTSTOREO, and that lots of new merch will be available soon! We have t-shirts, hoodies, posters, bags and maybe even the infamous laboureur jackets.

This month we will also start to use our in-house distillery that we acquired last summer.
